The offcut bins finally won. Camp shirts, hoodies, bucket hats and shorts — every piece cut from the same rescued towels as the bags, logo patch and all. One hundred percent upcycled, zero percent matching anyone else on the beach.

A slop chest, in ship terms, is where the crew bought their clothes. Burt insists it stays on the sign.
